No, you cannot complete the legal marriage fully online in Australia.
The marriage ceremony itself still has to happen in person.
What you can do online

What still has to happen in person
For the marriage itself, you both need to be there in person with:
- the celebrant
- two witnesses aged 18 or over
- the legal wording and signing
A recent update about NOIM witnessing
The Attorney-General’s Department says the NOIM can now be witnessed in person or remotely by audio-visual link in some situations.
That helps with paperwork, but it does not turn marriage itself into an online process.
